June 2018 Update
The end of May saw the Torne river system ice break in dramatic fashion, kicking out an enormous amount of water in quick succession. The Northern rivers were bursting with water, but as soon as June came round the water levels plummeted to the lowest we have seen in the North since the 1980's.

June 2019 Update
The Torne river was free from ice very early this year with the break taking pat the start of May. This is usually a good sign for numbers of fish running the river through the season.
